Hi Everyone, My first chance to get online in the clubhouse!!!! I juat read 5 pages and I see the Anael is having a hard time of it..I do hope you get better soon "T"... Still praying for you GrannyQ...

Mirabelle's having lots of fun with "her little girl"....the quilt is just so so so great!!!

Jan, glad to hear your down to one day a week!!!

Dublb..I see your having fun with the crumbs..I love them too!!! Let me know how stable that craft table is...

QuiltE, I won twice on different nights playing bingo $40 & $80...I'll be palying tomorrow night at the clubhouse...small prizes but you can win multiple times.....I have been doing a little bit of sewing..right knee tells me when to stop....I haven't been getting much sleep..it seems to hurt no matter where or how I lay my leg...I've also limited my walking...The Tens Unit helps alot with keeping some of the swellign down...I now know the surgery will be sooner than later..maybe even before the year ends if I can get it scheduled...I think my DR is in the Philippines right now...
My neighbor moved last Friday and I'm so angry...I really liked this womanand her kids deceived her...she thought she was going to an apartment only to find out that it was a nursing home instead...she did have all her faculties and would have never agreed to sell the house if she knew.... They just want her money....it's just so horrible....
I have over a thousand emails I have to delete so I better get to it... DH is playing golf and will have to pick him up in an hour..by the way the temp here last nite was 27*.. I had to bring in a bunch of plants that she gave me before moving...I'm going to have to bring them home with me....

Have a good day all of you and take care. H.

Sorry Anael that you are still feeling poorly.

I wanted to update everyone on my shoulder appt (2nd opinion)...I will now be doing "pool therapy" for the next 4 weeks. If there's no improvement, then surgery is an option. This doctor thinks there might be a small tear in my rotator cuff...based on what he saw on the MRI. He didn't say anything about the bicep tendon...the first doctor did and then changed his mind.

I get to be home all day tomorrow so maybe I will do some sewing then....

I know it will be a while before I get to use a jelly roll I recently bought, but am wondering if any of you have a favorite jelly roll pattern? Some yardage from the line is on sale so I would like to get it now, but can't decide what pattern I want.

Carriem, If it is the rotator cuff, get it fixed as soon as you can..you cannot imagine not having the pain anymore...it will be such a relief!!!! I think it's terrible that some Dr's can't get it right the first time or are afraid of the new regulations with the dreaded Healthcare....I hope you feel better soon Carrie....I'll try to get back in another day or two.....

I had about four or five books to suggest, Carrie, but they are all 'hiding' from me right now!

Went to LQS-K yesterday, she was having a sale of fabric, $3.00 per yard, and I felt like a bandit walking out with the just under a $100. worth about $300 plus. May have to return to the crime scene next Wednesday! Its every Wednesday this month.

New refrigerator is in and running...wow. Its bigger and better and will hold my Thanksgiving things.

Hi everyone! We had a marvelous camping trip. There were 14 rigs, lots of great food and cards. We spent last evening with a catered dinner at one of the guys beach house that is two miles from our camp ground. Here are some photos I took. The first is the coast line, the second a view of the islands that sit right offshore (this was Wednesday and it was cloudy most of the day), the final one was Wednesday nights sunset. It was so unusual and stunning!

Jeanie, sooooo jealous!! We had 3" of snow on Tuesday but it's supposed to warm up this week-end. Sounds like you had a great time.

Anne, congrats on the bingo wins. Also sounds like you're having fun and much nicer weather than if you were in NJ.

QNS, I'm also amazed at $3/yd fabric. Yep, I'd be heading there every Wednesday this month, too. Love a good bargain. And you're doing your part to help the economy (that's my excuse LOL).

Went on a very disappointing FART. We've seen exhibits by the QS owner and he does awesome quilting. He wasn't there and none of his work was on display. He was at a show somewhere and had everything with him. Bought a 1/2 price pattern and no fabric--none called my name. Did a little better at the second shop but they carry mostly fabric for Eleanor Burns's quilts and I don't use those. Did find 3 batik FQs. Had a great time with my friends but I didn't do my part for the economy today.

Anael & Carrie, please take care and feel better.

It's only 9:20 but I'm heading off to bed. At 3:30 this am I heard water running, got up to investigate and the hot water heater had emptied itself all over the basement. So MrJanRn & I had to start mopping and moving things. Never did go back to sleep. Got it replaced while I was shopping. So good night, all!

JanRN, I keep telling my Dh that the hot water heater will be replaced with one that heats on demand....no big floods that way. Clean up is no fun at all.

JeanieG, the scenery is lovely and so peaceful.

Honchey, glad you are winning in your Bingo games. No doubt it will be saved for a FART trip. Will Thanksgiving be in NC or NJ??

Honchey--if my shoulder gets any worse I will be requesting an earlier appt with the doctor. Otherwise I see him Dec 12th. If surgery is suggested I hope to get it done before the end of the year.

QNS--thanks for trying to think of the books...I've decided on a pattern called "Split Decision". What a great deal at the LQS!! I has been very tempting for me to buy fabric the last couple months since I haven't been sewing, but I've been trying to be good.

Jeanie--pretty pictures.

OK--good of you to stop by.

Mirabelle--how's the princess quilt coming? How's the shoulder w/no DH to massage it?

Jan--sorry to hear about the water heater. Hope you were able to sleep well!
