It is snowing here, let it snow, let snow!! Love it, as long as we don't have to drive anywhere in it or any kind of traveling. Beautiful coming down, looking at it from the inside of a warm house. At least the temp is now 16 above instead of zero. Keep warm and keeping smiling everyone.

You can keep the snow QNS, I don't want it here yet!

If I remember correctly some of you want to start a Sylvia Bridal Sampler. Do you all want to start at the same time and if so, when? I'm thinking of starting a seperate thread for the SBS otherwise we would have nowhere to go and show our gorgeous blocks

Nope, not me. I have collected fabric for 50 stars and Dear Jane...and hope to start them in January....but I have plenty of UFOs to entertain me until then.

Sounds like you are feeling better, Anael, to be thinking of projects again, and that is good news...way to go!

QNS--exactly what I was thinking--Anael's feeling like her old self again. Yeah.
I hope Janie's got some handwork to do while she's on CARE duty--but then she may be too tired to even want to sew after keeping a busy household together. And brrrr it's cold in Alberta as well as Texas. Keep warm and safe dublb!! Ice is worse than snow.
We have a light snow today--the fairy fine variety that continues to add up. Temps have moderated to the mid teens. Decided to fore go church--county roads never get cleaned off very well on weekends and soon become snow-packed especially with all the hunters out for 1st weekend of rifle deer season. So staying inside and have the "tree" quilt all quilted. Now to get the binding on and then a photo op. Then a couple of MB's to make as it's quilt guild tomorrow so another Oregon Trail block to make along with ?????'s ?????? block. Winter weathre advisory until tomorrow morning.
Did get a batch of fudge made, too. I needed a quilting break. Later.

yummy fudge, might have to sneak in for some

Anael I am all organised to make Sylvia's Bridal Sampler, wanted to make it this year but other things got in the way. I was going to follow along with Dear Jane and make 2 SBS blocks per week but of course I wouldn't be posting pics of my blocks then. So if you wish to start a new thread I would love to join you. This quilt has been on my list to do since we started FWS so very long ago

I have hit the halfway mark on the Bargello, will take a pic of it today so you can all see the slow progress.

OK--fudge sounds very good! I wonder if I have the ingredients....otherwise I'll just to have some in the virtual RV. Probably better for me.

Though I don't live in the tropics, I don't have woolies either! I can bring my new sweater, it's 100% wool. It's raining here. Fudge sounds so good. Once a UK friend of mine sent me some, it didn't last long The fudge in the virtual RV is better indeed

I will send a PM to Patrice about the Sylvia thread. Maybe there are more who want to start one. Do we go by the book, do we go row by row or do you have other ideas? I know Lynda DeTray is picking a block every week randomly. 1 block a week means 2 1/2 years before finishing. But DJ, 50 Stars and Sylvia together? Might be a bit overwhelming?
