Normal is the setting on my washing machine.

your parcel arrived today,QNS. I love everything you sent. I sent you an email.

i worked a little bit on the Irish Mist , then went out for lunch, now back home again ready to get back to fudging my wonky flying geese.

Honchy, your ham dish sounds delicious. Reading that almost got my appetite back. I may have to try it. Thanks.

happy new year everyone.

Oh my, great eye candy, thanks everyone for posting. What a delight to view today! My family is coming over for soup tonight, so have that in the soup pot simmering. We ran to Sam's Club to get their long loaves of French Bread, which I will spread with a garlic/parmesan mixture and pop under the broiler at the last minute.

And a Happy New Year to you, Anael! Our DS in NCarolina are at a NYE's party "in" Paris. Great for the whole family as they are all seeing a New Year in and can get the kiddies home at a reasonable hour. Isn't it a great idea? And in 7 hours Happy New Year from Iowa

Thanks, JanRN for reminding me...I rechecked my deleted messages and did not see or remember but a good ending on that that you got it. Perhaps that is JeanieG's story too and I have forgotten about it, too. If so, that would leave just Mirabelle who has not received their mailing, I think.

I had three lady friends who lost their husbands just before Christmas; one called me this afternoon and we had a nice talk. She will be up to visit us, when she can arrange it. Many years ago we worked in the same school.

I also appreciated Honchey's phone call early afternoon, she has a very young voice, and it caught me off guard for a few moments.

Lovely dresses Mirabelle....You've been busy!!

QNS, you certainly will be busy this year with all the new projects... I'll be trying to complete a few..I hope!

It's very dismal outside..we've had 2 days of rain and now it's overcast...I'm done working until I get the call that the baby is on it's way...I'm planning to make some potato salad to go with the ham for New Year's day...nothing really special for the day other than that...I'll be celebrating with some Egg Nog...I finally found some...
Good news from the ultrasound on my leg...at least now I know the pain in my calf isn't from a clot...
It's a stay in the house kind of day and that's what I'll be doing today & the next few days..there'll be a lot of "crazies" out there...Stay safe everyone and I'm wishing all of you a very Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year.
I can't find the SYE for January. Can you help me?

GG, I can't find it either. I know I've seen it in this section but it looks like it's gone. Or we both need (new) glasses
