Thanks for the positive response to my 4PP ... I kind of like how it's a dark quilt, yet the bright splashes from the poseys! Now to start thinking of how to quilt it ... the inner 4PP and purple block is 5-1/2" square and with the green or black added it's 7-1/2". So any quilting suggestions are welcomed. I'm not going to be going at it for awhile, so have lots of time to think it thru.

I'll toss out this idea ....... there seems to be a lot of "I-want-to-finish-PhDs" being said here, in various ways.

What if????? ........... we each post our quilty goals for the month. It might be to complete to flimsy stage a specific project? or make one block a week for x quilt? or finish up a quilt (or six or eight for Anael!)? or to organize their stash? or even to start a new quilt!!!! For those who have a busy month ahead, they might not even have a quilty goal for the month, knowing there is no time for such. And of course, many other possibilities!

Accountability helps me get things done. So putting it in black and white here on the thread, would encourage me along to make it happen ... and of course, your support and nudges would make sure I stayed on task. Would it help each of you???

there are still 13 left on my UFO list so I could do that for 2 months.
I like this idea of posting our goals, quilty or other ones.

Like GGal I've been peeking in and watching from the sidelines. But QE's suggestion sounds great. Personally I'm part of the UFO challenge on the board and being accountable to you guys will provide me more incentive. One of the UFO's was a certain siggie block--is it there yet? Like GGal I have all those blocks to make into quilts. And we will always come up with something new (like QE's 4PP--lovely-delightful). While mirabelle gets back into the swing we have Anael sewing with renewed health and vigor. Okay back to Bob Cratchit's stool. Have a great day.

I'm sorry I haven't been on for awhile, I have enjoyed looking at all the pretty quilts you gal's have all made. I also won't be able to commit to anything for awhile. I have finished my 33 radiation treatments. It seemed to take forever because we had to drive 55 miles round trip for these. Next monday my DH has to start another chemo treatment, don't know how he will react to this one. The last one in November he ended up in the hospital for 11 days, and I sure am worried about that happening again. Now I'm on medication for the next 5 years, don't care for that either. But I'll go with the flow and see about side effects on whether to continue or not.

I put my quilts that I have done for DG's and placed my pony quilt on top and decided I need to make one more row of blocks to make it a queen size. Will try to get them done soon if I can. I still have to finish quilts for 3 more grandsons. I would like to give the quilts to them for Christmas this year, so will see about that.

I still want to keep in touch will all of you, your prayers and thoughts are very helpful, and I really care about all of you and your surgery's and things that you go through. Thank you all so much and take care.

Great idea, QuiltE. I wouldn't have finished quilting Rosie if I hadn't posted here I was going to do it. I guess I need to be held accountable to get things done. If I tell yinz what I need and plan to get done, I just might get more projects completed. Altho I am laughing--everyone has all these great projects going. I have 2!! I feel like an underachiever LOL. I will have to add my MB quilt and SYE when those BOMs are complete and I have DearJane (and QE) lurking in the background. Hmmm..guess I have more to finish than I thought!

GrannyQ, good to hear from you again. I hope your husband will be ok after his chemo, it's nasty stuff!!
You can have my PC blocks if you want, they're stuffed away in a box here. I would love to send them to you.

Personally, I think QuiltE has a good idea; we all are so over whelmed with things its hard to pick out the tree from the forest for me right now. But I do not want to give up the warm fuzzy friendship we have with one another here; it keeps me balanced with all the joys we celebrate together and in the virtual RV in a united ring of prayers and hugs for those in need...I sent mine out to GrannyQ and her Mr. with best hopes and wishes for this month.
