I love that, what a beauty array of colors. Love to see what you do next.

Mr.QNS is another year older today. One step at a time, and see what we do today. Have a good day all!

No news is good news is the old saying, but I would rather read postings than to miss them all day, like today. Guess everyone except me is having a busy day.

I finally used up the veggies in the refrigerator before we had to toss them to the chickens. Peeled the white parsley roots, and chopped them into small slices to put into the corn and oyster dish with crushed crackers, broiled peppers and peeled them, chopped them up into small pieces, and sliced butter and made white sauce. Chopped up three apples, butternut squash, onion and garlic for the soup. Added them to the chicken broth and simmered them on the stove top. Added the spices to it and them whipped them all up together for supper. Baked the frozen Monkey Bread. Made a small mess in the kitchen for dh to clean up tomorrow. Chickens loved all the scraps. Have not baked the cake for dh yet that he wants me to do today. Later.

I have been movin' slow taday. I did git a few o' my chores done but not all. I did do some handquiltin' th'safternoon. I sure enjoy it. I have it set up in a large oval hoop that sits on a stane. I really don't like it. I thought it would be convenient but it's not. As soon as I need ta rehoop I will go back ta my 10" lap hoop. My short arms can't reach w/the oval hoop & I can't move it around like I want ta.

Hello Ladies Sorry it's been a while since I checked it...like several others I was sick for several days (in bed with fever from Thursday night until Monday evening). I still have a cough but otherwise feel much better. Had a mix up with the paint so had to do lots more coats than I should have...the machine was broken so when I went to get another can it wasn't the same as the first. I got the right one the day I got sick so it was yesterday before we could start on the final coat. DD helped me finish up today. We got the room almost emptied out so it is ready for the carpet to go in next Wednesday.

Here are a few pictures of the walls, linoleum by the door and the carpet waiting. Also one of the cabinet DH fixed up for me. He put it on plywood, took of the back and put on peg board (for hanging rulers, etc), and added casters so I can move it around easily. I got the cabinet ($25) and counter top ($4) at the Habitat for Humanities Re-store. This will be my cutting table and I am going to make a removable ironing board for when needed. The countertop on the pegboard side hangs over so I will have a couple stools beside it too. The kids are looking forward to having a place to side. Outlet covers are now on so nothing to do until Wednesday. I've started packing up the clubhouse...can't wait!!!!
