Lovely quilts, givio. Will send you an email with promised information.

Jenebilly, do not worry. Your packet is addressed and will be mailed with the others. There is no rush, it runs into Sepetember with Row by Row.

The Shopping Trip last Thursday was four shops. My goal was more KT to finish Stars Crossed:License is with each shop:LucasThe Quilt Sampler had the official colored fabric for the All Iowa Quilt Shop Hop, and then I chose from their back room at 30 to 50 per cent off each piece. Humeston, Iowa, shop. And last was Cindy Lou's in Chariton, KT shopThe challenge fabric to see what I can use them for and change the focus on each one. Yes, I did enjoy the day and look forward to using up some of the fabric as soon as possible. Ann Wheeler drove me to all four places and home again. She does my LA work for me.

We are dressing out our old hens every morning and will finish them (four hens) tomorrow. I am so happy we don't have a big bunch to do!

QNS - what great fabric you found! I would love the 30 to 50% off room. When in Phoenix, I always go first to their huge rack that is $3.00 first. Anyway can't beat their regular price of $6.99 for all their fabric, except backing fabrics. Love looking at their sewing machines too. They have quite a few that are trade-ins, plus all the new ones. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you make from them.

I love the new pattern called "Savannah" I found in Cameron, Mo, Crossroads Quilts. It's a four patch sewn together with slashing and corner stone. All my scraps can be cut up and used in that. Bucket list is growing.... but its one step at a time through the list.

Loved seeing your pretty fabrics and plates, QNS! Cindy Lou's is a place that Bonnie Hunter always blogs about. She loves to go there. She says it's gotten more expensive tho... used to be a cheap place for fabric. I see they had plenty of KT in stock!

By the way, how does one know what is KT? Is it marked that way? I would have a hard time differentiating it from civil war fabric. Are they different?

I went back to Hancocks today... been a week and they still haven't marked the batting down from 50%. The big sign outside said "Everything 60-80% off". Despite that they still wouldn't sell me the wool batting for 60% off. Nobody buys wool batting here. I'll wait til the final days and walk out with it, yet!

I did get a couple more prints for a song. Wanted to go to a quilt shop too, but didn't realize they closed at 3pm! So, another day...

NinaSue, meant to say how pretty Stars Crossed looks! What will you do in the white areas?

I'm going to look up the Savannah pattern you mentioned.

Savannah is from www.redcrinolinequilts.com Kerry, Texas. It is one of their simplistic patterns and lots of Civil War Patterns. Best thing to use up scraps in a hurry...I am excited about that!

KT means Kansas Trouble from Moda fabrics.

Doing FM blocks 89 and 90 this weekend. skipped two, may go back and do them if I decide too or not. Sunday is a day of rest for us...I hope ti is. and that the rain continues to drizzle down moisture for our plants. Have a good one.

Stars crossed is two different blocks put together...the star and the snowball block. Not planning on anything else in the pattern.

QNS, I looked at Red Crinoline Quilts and fell in love with Sarah Emma (right above your Savannah quilt) and also Regimental Star (3 above Savannah). Regimental Star also uses a lot of scraps. They are beautiful quilts.

Spent tonight cutting hundreds (thousands?) of 5" I Spy squares for the little kits I sell. It usually takes me an entire day or more to cut and bag maybe a dozen kits! Will be glad to have this job done and get back to sewing.

Happy Sunday everyone...

Me thinks you had a good time shopping Nina I checked out the Savannah pattern..nice big 4 patch squares!!

SBG. You, also, are a very busy person..I can't imagine doing all that the both of you do...

I have to start gathering the stuff I'll be taking home with me I AM leaving some behind this time ..it seems to be so hard for me to be without it all even tho I know there's no way I can work on any of it all at the same time..With me it's a little bit here little bit there.
I've been helping some of the ladies in the stitchers group figuring out patterns..

My PT is done and the ankle is 50 % better..Have excersizes to do..one of them is to step sideways with knees bent...so I'm going to start walking sideways in the house. Ha Ha, I think that is so funny..

Everyone have a wonderful Independence Day tomorrow. There will be lots of Fireworks going on around here...

Have good day all. H.

You are up early Honchey. Good morning to you! Glad to hear your ankle is fifty percent better. What is that dance that you step sideways? Two step maybe?

My QR days are going to work.... Quilt Room days are marked on the calendar! Progress on all that fabric I have in that room...hurrah! Baby steps, but going forward...SBG, I have made a couple of I SPY quilts...they are cute.

Yes , firecrackers go off around here, if we cared to watch. It is a lot of noise, just hope no one gets hurt from it. Each in our own way, we celebrate the Day. Have a good safe holiday.
