Oh, Jeanie those are so perfect! Those horses look so free. Are those the horseshoes you painted? I like 'em so much. Such cute chickens in the grass.

No, I bought the fabric that way! I don't have the patience to paint on fabric.

JeanieG ... the subtleness and softness of the horses are a perfect blend with the life shown with the chickens. Nice touch with that gingham mixed in. Perfect mixture, all round!

Thank you QuiltE! I thought the gingham gave it a "country" feel too.

You bet ... and ginghams seem to be so hard to find these days. Mix in a bit of it here and there. It gives that country feel ... and some lightness. And bonus, your gingham isn't all that big! NICE!!
