CookieLM ... when I saw your Children's Delight, I thought, oh but where's the turquoise? And there it was at the County Fair!! The CD colours/fabrics really gives an elegant and antiqued look.

Ggal--cute set of sheep in C delight, like where you placed the green fabric. Such a great contrast with the green in Cty Fair.
Jan--perfect placement of those 2 redbirds. Interesting how the color values you've chosen and where you placed them make for an intersting Cty Fair and how different these last three look from each other.
Cookie--your aqua shines again in the Cty Fair. Really like the other colors you've chosen to go with your main fabrics (the brown and aqua). Your C delight is going to be a "calming" block in your quilt with it's soothing fabrics.
everyone.

I see many more great blocks have been added since I was here last. Thanks to you all for your nice comments.

JeanieG, oh my gosh!!!! Your Children's Delight is stunning!!! What great fabrics and great job putting them together!!! Love your watermelon fabric, it's just right for the county fair! Nice job!!

oksewglad, Oh, what cute fabric for children's delight, I love folk art!!!! The middle really stands out nicely and great job on the block. Your county fair looks great, love the contrast!! How nice you met your DH at the county fair. I met mine at a gas station and we were 17, also a long time ago. I thought he looked like John Denver. hehe

gardnergal970, oh, I love your children's delight, such cute sheep and beautiful colors!! Very pretty county fair, great contrast. Great job on both!!

JanRN, I love your cardinals and the colors in that block!! Also love your pink butterflies, very nice contrast. Great job on both!!

CookieLM, love the colors in both your blocks. That turqoise is a knock out! Great job!!

Every week I love come here and see so beautiful and well done blocks. All the blocks are unique, so different although the same.

Honchey - your block is so cute. I think that the Cowboy Santa with the smiling horse will put a smile on the face of everyone who see it.
Anael - Your little cowboy is also so cute. I love the polka dots fabric and the matched colors.Beautiful blue and yellow horseshoes on the Contry Fair block. You did great.
Mirabelle - I love your fabric collection , blue, white and red. Beautiful blocks.
Wendiq - The little couple seems to be ready to play, so cute. I like the yellow and orange on your CF.
QuiltE - Beautiful horse and you matched so well the fabrics. The FC block is very precise. I think the yellow fabric is working very well on your blocks.
Termi - Lovely fabrics and as said before those strawberries look yummy
JeanieG - Hope you are feeling better today. I love sunsets and your block is stunning. Love also the watermellon fabric for the Country Fair.
oksewglad - I love your blocks. Can't see anything wrong with CF. It is as nice as your FC love story. The cow fabric is charming, and I like the dark fabrics, they all look great together.
gardenergal - Very well done with all those triangles and you did a great use for the sheep fabric.
JanR - Are they cardinals? Your block reminds me Christmas time, so beautiful and I like also the colors combo you chose for FC.
Cookie M - I am always waiting to see how your turquoise blocks will look and you always surprise me.

Here are my blocks fot this week.

I thought to use a soccer fabric for CD because here soccer is a fever, but I couldn't find a suitetable fabric then I found this wooden little horse, and I give it achance, so here is my Children Delight:

For Country Fair all was going well with the PPing but when I joined the last parts... well-well it seems something went wrong. There are several point problems...but it is done

Wow, I take a break for a few hours and more beautiful blocks to admire.
Ggal-I love the sheep!
Cookie-tourquoise is my favorite color and you make it work so well with other colors.
Arte-I love the polka dots around your wooden horse.

I'm loving paper piecing but finding the construction directions in the book don't always work. I have to sew the sections together differently; still works, but scared me the first time. Thought I did something wrong. Is anyone else finding the directions a little confusing or is it just me?

ArteEm such a sweet little riding horse. Perfect. And the colors/scale of design in the CF make these two great companion blocks.
Jan--YES YES, I'm new to PP too and if it looks right when I'm done, who cares how I got there!! I blame it on not being able to tell my left from my right.

Well, All of you are to blame for the sugar overload I'm having after being exposed to all the new eye candy !! What a show...I started to look thru the thread and all these blocks kept popping up...I don't think we ever had so many of them show up in one day like today!!! love it , love it, love it .
I've been busy sewing County Fair all day in between all the other stuff we all do every day.
I was doing fine until the last 2 rows. had to take them, yes, multiple corners, apart a few times...It's a little wonky but I don't mind a little character in my blocks. It's done.

With every post it seems to get better and better around here!

ArteEC ... oh how cute with your Little Pony! Looks like you and Honchey were at the same County Fair (re the similar colours). As for points not so right ... I just can't see anything that's wrong, at all!

DublB ... I was thinking you'd gone AWOL today, and was getting ready to send out a search party. Please tell us about your decoupage plates .... photo over on the Discussion page would be nice!

JeanieG ... are you feeling better? It must be about time for you and your camping group to disappear again for a few days!

JanRN ... heck, I never follow patterns, PP or otherwise! Like recipes, I see them as guides and I don't pay a lot of attention, if I can figure out how to put things together! Just did the Cowboy Star tonight ... y-eam practice! but with PPing it went together pretty slick!

Honchey ... Great mix of fabrics ... really seems to give some movement and dimension to the block. Where is this wonky-ness that you mentioned? I sure don't see it!
