Again, I have nothing to show   I haven't touch a machine since I left NJ. I posted this early since I don't have internet service here and I'm borrowing a friends wireless line. I'll be back in the groove next week so you will all have plenty of time to get some pictures up here! Anne

I was just reading the discussion page for week 18; nobody is liking blocks 35 & 36, it seems. I'm not too crazy about them either, but will attach photos anyway. This week I started to re-do some earlier blocks that I hated & have completed 3 so far.

Wow! I'm one of the ones who doesn't like these blocks but both of you did a beautiful job--now I like them (yours at least). Weezie I love what you did with the basket handle and GrannyQ love all the purples.
Great job-what a difference color choices make.

Wow! your blocks all look beautiful!
I do not care for my basket block(I think the colors) so another may get made. I paperpiece my blocks but #36 was another one that I ended up doing 2 set in seams. (I didn't want to go and reprint pattern since I had started them already) I think I have them finally figured out.
These are my 3" blocks in 30's Fabrics.

I'm one who doesn't like my blocks but these look great. I'm always altering my blocks and switching things up.

Violet, love the colors on your #36.

I know mine are not perfect, but they are done...I am working on block#52 so its been awhile since I even looked at these. Still scanning them in on dh desktop, transferring a copy to my flash drive to my computer then putting them into the base here. I am having fun, and enjoying everyone's else's blocks. They so lovely.

Lots of nice blocks & fabrics to admire here. Thanks for compliments to mine. Quilting Nina Sue, I really like the basket done in all one color. It makes the basket look better & not so out of proportion, although the more balanced look of your block may be also due to other construction changes you made. Anyway, it looks good!

Pretty blocks everyone. I did'nt like block 36. Have been considering redoing it. I don't like the dark purple in it.

Thank you everyone, you are all so encouraging. I am so pleased I joined this group. What a wonderful thing it is to say I "chat" with quilters all over the world.
