Thanks, Violet! I never buy striped fabric & this block was made of some very poor quality fabric that I was given years ago. The block actually looks better "live" rather than in the picture. I love your black & white railroad.

Sew Cornie (& others?) ... please forgive ... I did not mean to suggest that everyone who is not posting regularly has stopped making the FWSQ. I know how life can get in the way and that many of the original FWSQ creators have NOT given up the project.

Beautiful blocks ladies! I am not home to be able to post my blocks, but to be truthful, even if I were home, I am now officially behind! Aaaarrrghhh! I hate that! I'm in Seattle with DH at a conference and won't be home til Saturday, so I will be in catch up mode for next week's blocks! I love doing this together, so I have to catch up!

I too am way behind, but not out. I've got 12 (that's right 12) done. I'm enjoying the process and looking at what everyone else is doing. Wish I had more time, but life gets in the way. I'm going on a quilt retreat this weekend and will be working on some then. Hopefully, this summer things will slsow down. LOL

QNS, Your blocks are literately the "Cat's Meow" I wait every week to see your blocks knowing that I will enjoy seeing them. I just love them. I wish I could be as creative as you in what you do with the fabric. Just a Joy! Anne

I'm sorry weezie. I didn't mean to imply anything about your post. You're right to give great credit to those who are at this point in the quilt. Believe me, I'm as easy going as they come and don't get offended by much. Life is too short for spending my energy that way. I'm so impressed at the dedication of all of you who have been able to do these blocks on schedule and the pictures you're all posting are simply amazing! Thank you for keeping the rest of us encouraged!
