The tri this week is quite reasonable. I appliqued the little triangle at the top, but you could add in a few extra seams and do it by machine.
L6 is a bit fiddly, because it has so many pieces, but if you watch the numbers on the pattern, it should work out fine.
L9, the pattern pieces in the software looked so different to those in the book, this one threw me a little, so bear that in mind. When you have all the pieces done from the software, take care with the placement and it works!
D2 has some silly little bits that you wonder why Jane put them in. If you don't want the fiddle of trying to sew round that central patch on point, then divide it up into four little triangles. and similarly divide the others on the sides into two in that central section. Add on seam allowances, then you can make that central section in four squares with different 'corners' on them.
D4 has the only applique for this week, other than that little triangle on the tri. Whoops, just noticed that I swapped my D4 to somewhere else. Ignore the top right turquoise one in the photo, and I will go take a pic of the right one for you. Sorry.

The real D4, sorry for any confusion caused.

 I was thinking that my D4 didn't look like yours and I was just about to panic!!

I did the extra seams on the tri and it went together quite nicely. I'm going to do the hexs on D2 kind of EPP style, then applique those to a block and trim it. I haven't started the others yet..so we'll see...thanks for posting!!

Sorry, Patti, I didn't mean to cause concern - I just took the odd pic in not quite the right order. Well done for getting your tri out of the way. Shemjo, keep going when you can, you will get there.

Oh Lacey...you know I was just messin' with ya'...Anyway, got mine finished. This was actually one of my favorite weeks. Lesley, you asked about our favorite block...well, I've decided that D2 is my favortie block that I've done...so far....

Oh and my tri is straight..it just doesn't want to lay down and have its pic taken...its shy and was turning its head

Ooh, Pattie, well done for being so quick with this week. I loved the stripes on the corners of D2 all pointing outwards, but I really loved your treatment of L6 - that is one drawback of only using two colours in each block, you don't get these nice variations that more than two colours give you.

Thanks Lesley. You know I am flying by the seat of my pants on this one and just doing whatever I like. I do like more than just 2 colors on the blocks if possible though. I stole that idea from someone else early on

Jan, they look all crisp and perfect! Its interesting that you did the little "moon" shape on the tri with the background fabric...it looks good that way, I like it!
