Yes, I agree. I moved about 8 or 10 then quit. I'm sure I could do it forever.

Thanks Jan, The hardest was certainly left to the last at least I thought it was, there is one more block I have to do and its a bit of a beast as well, but this time I will applique it, much easier.

Got another question. Do you all use just a white quilting thread. I have on my first lot of blocks or do you use a toning one or one of those multicoloured ones. I have a white background. Patti what colour are you using?

Elle...I'm using a varigated beige/camel/brown thread (King Tut) by Superior for the inside of my blocks and tris. I'm planning to use the same thread only in a darker brown for my between tris (which will be dark brown). I'll probably use a mono for my QITD when I put the back on if I machine that part. If I do it by hand, I'll use the darker thread for that part.

If you are happy with the white, I'd stick with that.

Thanks for asking that question Elle. Iv'e been wondering the same thing. I'll probably use white or cream thread. Starting to work on the first kite tomarrow. Hope it's easier than that last tri!!!! LOL!!
