I'm trying to stay a little ahead because I know at some point I'll fall behind. When I do...I tend to try to hurry, thats when the problems start.... Your not behind anyway...its still wk 8 for heavens sakes!

Here are mine for the week...I have to admit..F9 was the first time I've ever sewn a curve! I sewed the center part by pin, pin, pinning!, then appliqued the melons using the freezer paper method. The same method worked well on F13, but used BlueChicken's circle method for the circles. The diamonds on G11 were done with the freezer paper templates too...some of the points are not as sharp as I'd like, but they are ok. The Tri is pretty straight forward this week.
I can't see anything wrong with your points, and you will never be worried about them by the time we all get to the end!

Patti, then perhaps you or Lacelady can start the post for Week 9, just so that those who are working ahead can get some help if they need it. If you start a post, just copy the format above for the title, and then shoot me a pm, so I can add it to the Cyber Sew virtual folder. That would be very, very helpful!!

You are a super star! Perhaps you can shoot Lesley a PM that you are doing it just in case she misses this thread. I know she's pretty far ahead herself and may have some nice tips on block construction too. She said Week 9 was challenging...
