A member on the board once sent me scraps, and I remember thinking the same thing--"If these are the scraps, I'd love to see the stash they came from!"

Wonder if I could catch up to this train. I have so many scraps, but DH just had shoulder surgery so not sure I could get them cut up in time and sewn for the next clue. Just maybe I can grab that stack of charms I have swapped for an use those. I know of a good neutral for my A and since we can choose as we go for B, fabric is not the issue. The food sounds so good, just made banana muffins this am while embroidering 15 sucker holders for Valentines think I may find some time somewhere. Now where did that other sewing machine go. I have misplaced it since I cleaned up my sewing area. It runs fine. Be back tomorrow.

Boy! It took awhile to cut these (enough for a nice throw size & maybe a runner to match)...they were actual weird shaped scraps so had to find grain on each piece I cut. But, done now & sewn. Closeup of the black for sashing. Will choose B later. I see so many pretty starts.............. I'm ready for tomorrow, although I won't be able to get clue till p.m. But, I'm ready!

Kim: Welcome aboard! There are three components: A, B and scraps or charms. The directions are to cut your scraps/charms into 3.5 X 4.5 rectangles and cut your A fabric into 4.5 X 1.5 inch. Sew the two together along the long sides. When your done you should have a square that measures 4.5 X 4.5. If you are going to make the table runner you will need 52. Some of us are making throws or even quilts. Hope this helps, if anything isn't clear just ask, someone will help.

quilterMomma: Sounds like you are really busy but this goes really quickly and even if you don't catch up by Friday, there will be time in the next week. Come along!
