they do start in January of each year.
however, anybody who wants to can start playing along whenever they want to.
you can start wherever you want, whenever you want.
if you read the "rules" at the top of the section you will get a better picture of how it all works.

Ho there. Love your kitty. I just joined with the name GJoyce. Had came in under hoppa (My adopted grandson) Not sure how I did that but wanted to be here on my own. Recieved a thanks for joining eMail but I can't find me in the list. I'm lost already. LOL Hope you can give me some tips on how to get found.

I was kind of lost too but as you keep trying you find interesting things as go place to place. Be sure to read instructions that they have given you it helps no matter how many times you come on here. Good luck.
