Cindy great idea as I too want to make mine a twin size too.

Jenniky.....I love how you put the corners on after the sashing. Very pretty.

Isn't it amazing how we all have different material and they all come out so different and beautiful.

A suggestion - maybe make another piece like this one, then add borders on the sides, top and bottom as needed.

Jen, hoping the FMQ is going good. I will give myself permission to wait a few days to think about it.

But I finished the scrappy mystery.

Everose, you changed a few blocks here & there from the last posted pic. I think you did a MARVELOUS job on the changes! It looks really nice!

Thanks Cindy! Yes, as it was laying on the floor (my design wall) and looking at it from all angles, I found some pieces that didn't work for me. Going to use the dark polka dot fabric for the back and binding since I have enough of it.

On another note, I found a site for more quilting patterns in the Grit magazine. We used to get the Grit paper when i was growing up - long time ago. But thought it would be something that Mom would like to look at now. So ordered a subscription to it. Site is www.Grit.com/quiltingpatterns There are some that I really like. As if I need more patterns, but you never know when I might have some free time.

they all look great! i wasn't going to post mine, because once i got it all together, i thought it looked a little blah. it wasn't till i took a picture of it that i realized that i used the wrong material for the sashing. oh well.

i really enjoyed the trip. this is the first mystery quilt i have ever tackled. thank you very much to the mystery mistress, you did an excellent job. i too, look forward to a new trip in the fall.

this is an excellent site with lots of friendly and helpful people. i really enjoy this. thank you to one and all.

Cad, you may have had a "design change", but it looks great from this set of eyes. Your star sure pops with the sashing that you used.
