That's the signup date. I think the blocks are due to her mid-July. I don't know. But maybe she'd move the deadline to get the 64 sign ups. They go together very fast. If anyone is interested PM sharonB and see. It could fill some time before the next mystery.

i'm in some other swaps, the modern mini, monthly art quilt challenge and the dq swap, and this month the needlecase swap, so my time is pretty filled, but it does look fun. i'll see if i have any strips. i would love a wild scrappy!

OMGosh me too... I had to write them on a calendar so I'd stop getting confused. I'm combining a few together, like the garden PP, farm PP, chicken PP. I'm using my siggi's with my postage stamps and the wacky fall log cabins with deb's autumn block swap... EEEKKK! I need a head check!

sheri i am just curious, what is the purpose of making siggi blocks to trade when they are not going as a label to a quilt project? is this swap just about collecting siggi blocks in general or do you do something with them?

People do different things with them. I know in the Dear Jane thread we've talked about trading a signiture block between all the ladies who are working together to finish that. Some are using them in the backing as a momento. Some have made quilts for momento. I recently found a quilt in my MIL's closet she made with her sewing friends years ago and they each did a block and signed them. I think it's just a fun thing for memories, if you want. I see mine as a border or a backing on a quilt I've made from blocks traded through the QuiltBoard or like my mystery quilt done with all you here on the train. Just ideas. I think SharonB posted some finished projects people have done in the past.

Mine will be intermixed with the siggie blocks and other sqs to make a momento QB quilt of the participating QB members.. I love the idea since I for one am on the QB ALOT.. There's room for others to join too.. if anyone is interested..

Default Whew! Mr. Nobody didn't keep me from finishing!

The picture is sideways, and I don't know how to rotate it! Oh well, you get the idea. "Mr. Nobody" came by and swiped one of my piano key borders! That was a shocker, but wanted to get the top finished, as my UFOs are beyond count. So with a bit of ripping, this is how it turned out. Probably milder colors would have been good, but this will be a good snuggle quilt. Hope Judy is doing okay. Thanks to all the encouragers:urgodschild2, cindy 60545, and Jenniky. It's been fun!

Mine is almost finished, just need to get pics! I changed it up a bit, added a few borders to make it bigger. I changed it from a table topper to a beach or picnic quilt.

I looooove everyone's! It's amazing how the same quilt can look so different. I have learned a lot from this. I don't have a local quilt guild or any quilty friends and things like this are so fun for me! You guys are my guild, LOL!

We must do another! Someone please, please, please do another!

I'm saving all the pics of you guys' quilts and printing them off along with the instructions for my quilt journal. I hope thats ok with you?

I scrapbook a lot and I want this in my quilt scrapbook because it's been so fun for me. Plus all the different pics are great inspiration for future quilts!

OOOOH do sign up for the siggy swap. If you look at the pattern you can see how it will make into a quilt. You have all of July to make them. They are so easy to put together and go real fast. I would love to have siggy's from everyone on this train ride. That would be so cool.
