Dublb, I am so slow, that inch worm is a mile ahead of me. Too many UFOs and I keep on adding another one. I am distracted by a good book on my kindle...several of them. Beginning to sew a little, which is more than I have done in the last year or two. Missing my local quilting buddies that have gone on to their heavenly rewards, just memories linger of each one. That is the problem in getting old, missing good friends. Still, I am going forward with baby steps, almost have the inner square done , Y seams and all. We have downsided with no more chickens, ducks or guineas. Just my cats to feed in the heated garage...and one inside cat who does love to go outside. I have miles of fabric to sew, and things to do.

Sue I am slow also. I can't believe how much longer it takes me to do a machine than anyone else. I do miss sewing. I do love the thrill of sewing w/a machine that wasn't working. That is the only sewing I have done in a long time.

My bucket list is longer than my UFOs. I have good excuses: cat lays on the ironing board, so I cannot iron or press pieces, the cat needs some love,dh needs a good meal or some dessert, need to clean a bit of the house, company coming to play cards. I am too tired, I will just read a book on kindle. I signed up for the quilted twins newsletter and one finishes a charity quilt every week or less. Wow. She is younger than me by some 20 years. I feel so bad this morning, I let dh do his own breakfast. I ache all over, can hardly move; hope it gets better later in the day. I have miles to go, and things to sew.

QNS, call your dr. tomorrow. Body aches can be the corona virus. Get it checked out, and in the mean time, rest.

,SBG,the body aches are from age and arthritis. A tylenol has really helped. I feel much better now, at 3:16 pm. I have put together the small center of the homespun M. quilt and started on the next step. I might even bake cookies and fix supper. Relaxing and reading a book on my kindle helped, too. Most of the time I am just too healthy, which is wonderful to be so blessed. I keep telling my Dr that the Cherry Cokes kill all germs in the back of my throat. We both laugh. Odd thing is, the specialist told me my jaws have arthritis and are deteriorating because I take my dentures out every night and put them in a denture holder. If I eat Lays Potato Chips, it lessens the pain. . .and the pain goes away.

Ok, but if it's pain and fatigue beyond normal, please check in with your dr.

Everything seems to be a symptom of covid these days. At work they started out with a few symptoms, now they have half a page of symptoms they ask us before we can enter the building. And if we traveled anywhere, and if we were at a gathering, and if we were around anyone who was quarantined... We are supposed to answer 'no'. I'm not sure how they think nobody will have an ordinary ache or pain anymore. I just say the truth, that I have my ordinary aches, and the guard lets me in... I'm not sure why, since I'm supposed to be saying 'no.' But, honestly, gray haired ladies that walk slowly with canes, often have aches...

Still, SBG is right. Go to the doctor if you are unwell...

I'm on the last round of the Round Robin sewing. SBG is done already! My next project is my UFO twin size ISpy quilt for my granddaughter. I'm looking forward to it. When I started, her favorite colors were pink and purple, but now she says red. I've already sewn the purple, but I can change the color of the sashing. I'm not keen on purple and red though.

Some of the Covid symptoms are my normal allergy symptoms. Stuffy nose & lots of drainage. The drainage causes a sore throat. Loss of taste & smell. Headache. I regularly have an asthmatic cough. My normal temp is 97.8 so that's not a problem regularly. I too have ache & pains. At least I know what causes each one.

Right on, folks. We are in the middle of no where and that is good. No shoulders or groups to avoid, and just trying tp stay healthy. I cannot wear a mask and breath, but I can try to keep a distance from others. We limit going anywhere, and use the senior hours in Wal Mart and Fareway and Aldi stores. Also, the limited trips to our clinic. A lady drives us to Des Moines Medical places. We know our aches and pains, too, and when to go to the Dr.'s. I think staying clean and washing hands often is the key factor. It is hard to find the truth in all the hyper of the media who lies to us all the time, and tests that are coming back false on the Covid 19 because money is involved...if they test positive. If a person is killed in a car accident, the death certificate says died of Covid 19. These are the factors in 2020, and I am ready for a New Year, Life will go on, babies are born, and people die.and may we live to love, laugh, and enjoy our lives to its fullest everyday.
