Lucky you! Where do you go for your quilting retreat? Is it a guild activity, or a stand alone operation?

It's the SewFreeQuilt Retreat at Tocca GA. I've wanted to go for years. I am so looking forward to it!

For those of you who don't feel up to hand quilting, don't forget that you can all machine quilt each little block, but use the same construction method, so that at the end of the day, you only have straight lines to quilt through the whole thing, around the blocks.

BTW, is it time for week 15 to be posted yet, if so, I'll do it, just to spur you on.

Thanks for all the welcoming comments. I really would like to do this. I'm thinking that maybe ya'll just make it look too easy. I really liked LacyLady's quilting pictures and ideas. Last year, I used a similar technique with SBS, but I quilted the top, batting, backing blocks and then joined the blocks together. Actually, I machine stitched the backs together and ended up hand stitching just one side of the seam between the blocks. It was given to a hospital or I would post a picture. I do like the idea of having it DONE when it's done. I think having the backing all in one piece would take less fabric. What do you think?
