1-June-2014 Block of the Month photo's.
 

Hi Everyone,

It is time again for the new June Block of the Month photo's to be posted. I really enjoyed making this pattern following through with this years theme of squares & rectangles. I hope that everyone enjoys looking at my photo & will get busy making theirs to share with the rest of us on this Quilting Board. I will be looking for the pictures to start coming in!!

These are my Squares and Rectangle BOM 2014 so far with one substitute block :)

Oh my Judy, your block for June has turned out so pretty, I love it!! :D Also your collection so far is very striking & colorful. What a great job you are doing with your 2014 project. The floral fabrics you have chosen to put together are so lovely. My 2014 collection is all floral too!! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

Nice blocks, SulaBug and Judy. Hope to get mine started today.

Thank you, when this BOM began I was thinking a Monte type quilt, that is the reason for all the different floral prints. Not sure just how it will work out, but plan to stay with that theme.
Now looking for the project of month, if there is not one I plan to make linen napkins for my sis as she entertains a lot.

Thanks SulaBug I did find the project and printed instructions will choose fabrics tomorrow.also ..I did get a sample napkins make this afternoon...hope I get faster making these or I will have a hard time making twelve :)

Connie............your blocks are awesome & the fabric you are suing is so pretty. They all go together so well. WOW.............what lovely blocks for the 2014 BOM thread. Your colors all go together so well & compliment each other in such a nice way. I hope your get your machine up & running again soon. We are all looking forward to the July block. Keep up the good work.

Yes, I loved working with blocks, but do not know if we have to make each month or part of this all ... so I just put on the June ... not yet handle me pictures.

GrandmaNicole.........You only have to make the blocks that you like. If you want to make all 12 of them for the year, then you can make a quilt for someone. It is all up to you on what you decide to do with your blocks. I am glad to know that you are enjoying making these blocks with the rest of us, on the Quilting Board!! It will get easier to post pictures I promise!!

I'm catching up!!! :) I had to recut some fabric because I couldn't get the 6 x 3 1/2 to work. Otherwise, nice block!!
