The first two pieces are the hardest. once you do them the rest is a cinch! You can do it ,, give it a try once, you do you will be glad you tried it!

OMGravy! That is exactly the way I felt. Then I decided to challange myself and took one tiny step at a time. And Now I love, love, love paper piecing! So go ahead and give it a try. Just take your time and do one stitch at a time! That is how we learn (and live)!

Go to the pictures of the February block and you can see the ones that Missgigglewings and oklahoma sue made .this was the first time for them as well and you can see what a beautiful job they did!!!

You can always cut your scraps bigger than suggested. If it helps you feel more relaxed, do it. The excess is cut off anyway and this way you won't have to worry about your points. Hope this helps.

I'm trying to do 2 BOM's One I'm using all the same fabrics; other I'm going through scraps and am keeping the same backgrounds throughout. So far like my scrappy ones the best
