2015 - July Block of the Month - Photos

Looks like I'll end up with about 24 blocks this year. Each 1st attempt I've done has just lacked something in my fabric choices, so I make a 2nd block and am much more pleased with it. I really like all the blocks and several have pushed me out of my comfort zone.

Wow! I can just see me know with this one . . . oops!!! :D I'll put this one on the "back burner" since I'm still working on June's block!!! (at least I have the June block cut out and ready to find its way to the sewing machine . . . ha, ha, ha).

question of the day is this one as hard as it looks? looks scary hard!

not hard at all.
i think it's the fabrics i used.
i was limited to scraps from a different project because i wasn't home at the time.

Okay, here is my July block . . . although it's not perfect (challenged to get the upper triangles right) . . . :o

Katie, Very nice. Just got back from vacation & need to get mine made. Finished June's but haven't posted pix.

Great fabric for this block. Your upper right corner is just fine :)

Wow, I made it! Wish I had made a better choice of fabric though. I think I'll try June next.
