2020 Color Challenge with Jen
 

I’ve decided to participate in Patterns by Jen’s 2020 Color Challenge.

It is a beginner friendly challenge (perfect for me). I’ve decided to make two blocks each month with different background fabrics.

January blocks look great! This QAL has an interesting color inspiration!

That looks like a fun quilt along. It appeals to the bird watcher in me. Your blocks look great!

I have downloaded January’s block and info on the quilt. It could be an interesting project.

A long time ago, in my early quilting days I would do a variety of bird blocks they were fun and colorful. I am sure these are more artistic that what I was doing back in the day. Have fun with this challenge. I am looking forward to seeing some of your finished blocks as you built your quilt.

Does anyone know when the next block will post for February? I’m definitely going to do this this year.

Hi, happylab! I am doing this challenge. I finally had a chance to do the February block. I’m still trying to do two blocks each month. One with a grunge background and the another with a batik. Here is February. The February block is inspired by the indigo bunting. A beautiful bird that can be spotted in Ohio in the summer. They do like backyard feeders.
