m-fay, thank you for inviting me to the train ride! I am on board!
I hope it's ok to share this here, Cinnamon Monkey Bread 20 unbaked frozen dinner rolls 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup dry instant vanilla pudding mix 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/3 cup melted butter Lightly grease a bundt or tube pan. Place frozen rolls in pan and sprinkle with sugar, pudding mix and cinnamon. Pour butter over top. Cover with a clean damp cloth and leave overnight to rise. Next morning bake at 350 for 25 minutes, until golden brown. Turn rolls onto plate and enjoy.

Here is another Monkey Bread Recipe:
Monkey Bread 4 small cans biscuits (or 2 large cans) 2/3 cup butter 2 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 4 tsp water 1 cup nuts, chopped You can use 4 small cans or 2 16 oz cans biscuits. Mix and melt together butter, vanilla, brown sugar, water and nuts. Add biscuit pieces and stir until coated with mixture. Pour into greased bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes then invert onto serving plate. |

Sunlitensmiles pretty blocks love the block under them. Here is a quick picture of mine. They are a dark blue not black and a mix of lights that show up darker than they really are. Off to a good start so far.

Just got finished pulling 2 1/2" lights from my strip bin and decided on my dark constant! Will use this as a beginner/ender project while putting together my Grand Illusion! |
Golly Gee Willakers Miss Judy! I leave y'all alone for a few days and ya done run up 11 pages on me.lol Finally caught up on my reading now I need to look for fabric. Oh my, where to start?
|
Yes, raining here as well. It is supposed to turn to ice tonight and sleet/freezing rain/snow for the next couple of days.. yuck! That will bring everything to a screeching halt. Looks to me like a good time to quilt :D

Judy,
Can you clarify something for me? The lights can be scrappy, correct? So if my lights this week are 2.5" strips I'm using up, the lights next week can be different fabric that I might have bigger pieces of? Also, the dark constant, will we need any BIG pieces of this? strips? When you say 18-20" by WOF, that's just to get yardage, correct? I just want to make sure I'm going to have enough of the dark fabric. I'm pretty sure I will, but don't want to get too far into this and find out I was wrong.
