Leslie and Patti, I love your blocks! They are soo different. I really dislike the one in the book as I think it takes scrappy off the deep end , so I will be using fewer colors on mine. Patti, I'm glad to hear you thought this one was easy---it has me a little nervous. Leslie, I like the additional embroidery on yours so much I think I'll copy you!

It's not that bad....It's not that bad......I started it yesterday, putting it together a little differently than shown, but it's working for me. It's a beautiful day today. Mild temperature, overcast and chance of rain so I'll probably be able to sit on the deck and sew.

LOL....hope you got to just sit and sew all day!
