Can you all believe that we will begin Week #21 tomorrow? It's the week for Block #7. This one is an easy one. It can be even simpler by fussy-cutting the center circle & only using one circle there instead of the 3 as the pattern shows. Either way, it's a fun, simple block. Have fun!

do I really think I can start a new Dear Jane group??? I actually started to post a new topic, got an entire one of these screens filled and decided to put in some DJ background. I googled to make sure I had the right museum name in Vt.... :oops: I forgot to open a new browser and my entire post disappeared....
I took it as a sign that now is not a good time. Maybe I will try my luck again in a few days!
Meanwhile, gotta find DD's camera and post a few pics

Thanks! The peacock feather one is the first fabric I bought for the inner borders. When I got it home and laid the blocks out on it - it died!!! Went and bought another fabric - turquoise, this time & it looked OK. I wasn't in a great mood then. However, for some strange reason, I decided to take another stroll over in the batik area & the one I am using was there, not saying much, but screaming - LOOK AT ME!!! I took it over to the cutting table & laid the center out on it (I hadn't brought it with me the first time!) & knew it was the right fabric - 3rd time's a charm.

I buy those "look at me" screamers and sometimes I can't cut them but just keep looking at them. I can be happy with that.

me love the fussy cutting too, kath! It's such a "ta da!" block.
We always taught the wee ones about 'ta da' moments. They make everything happier/brighter :XD:
