What size are these to be ?
If you are making the small size, then they will finish at 3 inches - 3.5 inches unfinished (your square up size before sewing into the final quilt.) The queen size blocks are 5 inch finished - 5.5 inches unfinished, squared up size. |

Same as the others: 3.5 inches (unfinished) for lap quilts, 5.5 inches unfinished for the queen people.
Barb in Louisiana, thank you! How do you make EQ files into PDFs? I wasn't sure how to do it and still make sure that the blocks came out in the correct size. |
Quick question. On the “ Important” - - half of units need to be mirror images
would that be 16 of the Fabric 1 & 2 And 4 of the fabric 1 & 4 And then just the same # fabric on both side of beams for other remaining 16 and 4. ? |

They need to look like the pair of blocks that I posted. You can ignore the first one that's just two colors. That was just to illustrate the "beam" description. You will be using 3 colors. Notice that in the pair of red/blue/white blocks, they're pointing toward each other. They both have red on the top, white on the bottom, as if one is a mirror of the other. Fabric #3 (my blue) is in the center of all of your blocks. My fabric #2 is the red, my fabric #1 is the white.
Perhaps reorienting the blocks will make it clearer what I mean. if you point the center beam to upper right, half of the blocks will have fabric #2 on top, half will have fabric #1. The same for the sides, half with #1, half with #2. These are your 32 blocks, 16 one way (#2 on top) and 16 the other way, (#1 on top.) |

Here is what I mean for the 8 remaining blocks. Again, half have #1 on top and half have #1 on the side.

Thank you very much. Think I have it now. 👍

I don't seem to have Nitro, but there is an option on EQ8 to print to PDF. The block on my printer came out 1/8 inch too small, but Husband printed it for me and the settings may have been incorrect. I'll tinker with it again. I won't need it for this project, but if I run another, there is a weird block that will probably need it.

I don’t have the ruler you used nor a printer to print for paper piecing. Once I got my head around the pieces I needed to cut it was a breeze. Blocks done and ready for next week
