He has suffered another mini stroke today, we are taking it day by day now. He's in God's hands now as far as what is going to happen. |

Somehow I missed this the first post about your Dad. I know this must be a very difficult time for you and your family. Hope you have a few moments to take care of "you". |
Peg, Here is a hug for you on Mother's day! I too am behind because of multiple family crises the past few months. But I also find that taking time here and there to sew and quilt really brings me back to an inner calm. Bless you and your father in this difficult time. Please know that we really appreciate you continuing to develop the blocks for this BOM and we certainly will understand if in the coming you get a bit behind.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It was a tough night, he got up during the night by himself and took a bad fall. He's just too weak now, and because he doesn't understand anymore, he's still trying to do things by himself. He has a walker to use, but forgets it. He's okay, just bruised his arm and thigh, thank God. I think we are going to have to do shifts now, 24 hrs a day someone has to be up and available just in case. Happy Mother's Day everyone. Hope you all have a great one. |
