You will need to remember to check the board, the 1st of each Month to find the link that has been posted for that month's block.
We are looking forward to a great deal of fun!!

I believe if you are watching this thread, Sulabug will post a notice with a link to that month's information and you would get an email notification that there was new information in this thread. I believe that's how it works. If I am wrong, I am sure Sulabug will correct my information.

Thanks Judy!! It sounds like that would be easier :)

Never did anything like this before, but it sounds like to much fun to pass up.
I'm going to give it a try, because if you don't try something new, how will you ever learn.

For those of you asking about how much fabric, here's an example. I did this in EQ7 using 12 different houses with 2" sashing and border to give a rough idea. EQ also over-estimates the fabric, in my experience.

The only thing that I'd probably want to keep consistent is the sky/background. If all the houses are different there would be very little of each fabric needed.

This is extremely helpful - not only to figure out from my stash which fabrics I can use, but also to visualize the project as a whole....I've considered getting EQ7 eventually.

I love using EQ. I especially like that I can import the fabrics. You can either scan in your fabric or there are a lot of manufacturers that provide EQ library files for each collection, like Moda and Connecting Threads. If I buy a FQ set or something I download the file for it and I can design with the actual fabrics.

Plus, Electric Quilt has fabric collections each month to download. I've gone back and downloaded years worth of them.

That's great! I have had EQ6 for a couple of years and still haven't gotten around to using it!!

And Midwestmary I love your snowman avatar!! I collect snowmen at xmas!...over santas! Is there a pattern?
