Mirabelle--your block is pretty...your quilt is going to be so elegant with those roses!! The other quilt you made is great...very masculine. What is the name of the pattern?

Mirabelle...what a beautiful quilt. I echo Jan...how do you get so much done? Most days I sew 5-6 hours and don't have too many finished quilts to show for it. Maybe that's my problem. I love the piecing but not the quilting so not to much gets actually finished. You are much more balanced and disciplined no doubt.
I always have a notebook on my desk and plan out what has to be accomplished, write it all down and cross it off when its done. This week goes something like this Piece PC blocks Quilt Hearts charity quilt Embroider teddy bear blocks Sew binding on medallion quilt Start making bags for Patchwork Club's Show n Tell Piece Dinosaur quilt top I am continually crossing off and adding stuff, when DH is at work I will sew for maybe 8 hours a day, when he is home it is a lot less. I have 8 charity quilts completed so far this year and hope to get 12 finished by the end of the year |

Here is my last block for this week, crossed off my list and as soon as I post this will be sewing binding on while DH and I watch a movie.

Thank you JeanieG, the inspiration came from your Farmers Wife Sampler as I so enjoyed seeing your blocks every week. The idea of using just one fabric range appealed to me. As the end gets closer I am getting to see more of how the fabrics work together and I am loving it..
