Ggal was so nice and I am very happy she told us about the retreat so we could meet! She is one of those friends who I just "clicked" with. :)

Crystal doesn't have any kids. We met when I was selling stamping and scrapbooking supplies (Close To My Heart)...a friend of hers referred her to me as there was something specific she was looking for. We talked on and off for a couple years, did some card swaps together, but weren't that close until about a year and a half ago. Another friend and I were planning a retreat for Oct 2010, she got diagnosed w/melanoma and started treatment so Crystal helped me plan/run the retreat. After that we just got to know each other better and better and spent more time together.

She *is* doing the PC blocks. She's using 30s fabrics and I think has bought enough FQs for 3 quilts. LOL We both worked on them during the retreat in Sept where we met GGal. She is crazy busy and doesn't spend much time on the board....hence her not posting her pictures, checking in. I was trying to only work on my blocks when we were together, but after finishing several other quilts over the summer am ready to get these done. She is taking a break from working on hers to make quilts for her nieces and nephews.
