It's a quick block week. Yay! Had time to work on Jane, too.

I thought both these blocks were refreshingly easy compared to some of the blocks we've been making! Whew! Glad we get a bit of a break in between the more intricate patterns?

I am enivous of you all's blocks this week; mine feel flat to me now. My biege in the sunset end of the day washed out to look like a white.

Guess I will have to work on better contrast. I was 10 ahead, now only four blocks ahead. Still recovering from two ER visits four hours long to stop a nose bleed. Blood pressure is still too high, but am working with Drs on that. What can I say, my motor just runs too hot, too fast!!!

Quiltingninasue, Nosebleeds can be a real bummer-Packing-can't breathe right-Hope your doctor can find the right dosage. I hope you feel better soon. Anne

Thanks, Anne. Never had a much of a nose bled before..left side just started and would not stop..thank goodness the right side did not bleed. So just had packing in left side for four long days.

The local QS lady owner did not feel good on Monday and went to the hospital & was diagnosed with mild stroke, partially paralized on right side...she is also diabetic, so they are keeping her at the hospital. Counting my blessings, and praying for her quick recovery.

I had frequent bloody noses as a kid. Never saw it in anyone else until a relative had high blood pressure. Hope you find the right dosage soon, NinaSue.

Just had a stroke in the family. Cannot stress how important it is to seek treatment in the first four hours. Even if the person is yelling, "Do not call 911!" or demurring and suggesting a mild illness, make the call. I hope your LQS lady has a decent recovery.

On FWS, glad we're starting to get around to sashing. Adds another level of quilty excitement to the project.

Hope to have my blocks finished on the weekend, just have to make my Secret Santa gift. Will post pics as soon as I can.
Is it just me or are these weeks coming around a little quicker. I was in front but now I am playing catch up...
