You will need to mirror F8 (although I didn't). Another week with applique .
G7-I appliqued the circle arcs on after pp'ing those skinny strips. G1- I used a freezer paper pattern to make the top clover type shape. E11- I used the back basting method to do the top round section with the pointy things. It seemed like it was easier that way than using a freezer paper pattern. Of course, machine applique with steam a seam would be the easiest of all. The blocks aren't really hard, just time consuming. I did reference Thatquiltblog fairly often when making them though. On the triangle..I again extended the lines at the top so as not to have to applique that top diamond shape. I still struggle with sharp pointy points at times. But..here is my set. |
