Finished Row "C"
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished C-13 this morning and am pleased to send you the pictures of my block chart. I really liked C-13. The little half square triangle is sew cute. Hopefully row D will go as fast as row C. I was going to say easy but these blocks are any thing but easy but it is a learning process the whole way. Looking forward to all of you comments.

I made it through another week, and actually got 3 tris done. The first one is TR6
Then I got TR 7 done On to TR 8 and after getting it all put together, I realized that it is almost the same color as TR 7, so when I sew the top row together, I will move it down the line. Who will know but me? :):) Must watch my color choices closer. Enjoy looking and I look forward to seeing your posts, also. Have a good week, and Blessed Easter to all. |
Anyone out there feeling guilty for falling off the wagon? Well, I just checked my blocks and see that I haven't finished one since October 2012! Well, I have 3 pink, chocolate and cream finished between yesterday and today (B2, A2 and B3). Whew! Pics are in my album (link below).

I am right there with you, Fraew with feeling guilty. I never put mine away, just left them hanging up there on the board, and every time I walked into my sewing room, I had to look at them. And I thank Gus so much, for doing this thread again. Not sure how long I can hang in there, and keep getting blocks done, but since I am no longer working, I have set my Saturdays and Sundays aside, to only sewing DJ blocks. I spend free time during the week getting them quilted. I only got 2 done this weekend, but one of them was a corner triangle, and I spent a lot of time, organizing scraps, to find pieces easier. I didn't even look to when I quit sewing blocks in 2012, too depressing, but now I am back and hopefully get at least 1 done per weekend, and keep that quilt getting bigger. Best to all who have joined the journey. Looking forward to seeing more blocks.
GUS~~ a question~~Any idea how many were able to stick with the 2012 group and complete their quilts? Just curious |
You inspired me Fraew! I finished B1 and started B12!
