Here's a photo of the single block and some of the ways I found to put it together. The first photo is how the pattern shows to assemble.
Haven't decided which way I will actually sew the blocks together. |

There are a few flaws but here is mine. I liked this block, I think I just hurried too much. I may attempt it again when I make myself take more time. Nice block, thanks Nina.

Toni, that color combination would be really cool for a fall quilt. I like it.

Here is my latest block of the month...
Wagon Tracks 3/2008 block of the month |
Kathy, blue is my favorite color. Love the choice. Is there metallic silver in the darker fabric? The white really sets it off.

Hi NIna,
I like variation 3 and 4 the best. The colors are great !!! You put alot of work into this quilt top. Great job !!!! Bebe |
There is some silver on the outlines of the pansies. This is from eons ago- the Marcus Brothers pansy line. Faye Burgess designed it for them. I decided to finally use up the stack of these prints in the blocks of the month (to make room for new stacks of fabric :):):):) )

Fun block, Nina! I still need some practice on my "scant" quarter inch. I may try it again in some other fabrics. I'm getting sick of my BOM fabrics! Here's what I have so far...
