Well this is the last week I will post the quilt blocks for the Sampler done my way! I hope you all have enjoyed the ones I have posted til now. And I hope you enjoy these last 3 quilt blocks. I will miss posting these. But everything must come to an end.
The threads will remain on the board for anyone to use them in each one's own time. This week I have a HST/Boston quilt block / a Drunkard's Path quilt block and a Kansas Dugout quilt block. As usual you can find my directions for using my cut down methods to make the "Blocks" by following this link. http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1020 And you will find all of the weeks here in the Topics Lists: http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1017 I encourage all who are working on the quilt blocks to post your pictures so we can share in the journey!! As you work through the process on each quilt block you might think about sharing how you put them together. Pictures of your quilt blocks in progress are really fun to see too. so post on the Picture Thread for this Sampler Quilt! I look forward to seeing these quilts done!! http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-70984-1.htm I hope to see pictures of everyone's progress!! I'd love to know if anyone is working on these. - Clara --Kansas Dugout Blocks Clara layout Sylvia - Drunkard's Path Blocks Sylvia layout Tilda - HSTs and Boston Blocks Tilda layout |

I hate to see this end. I have enjoyed seeing all of your creations Rhonda. I figure I will only be able to work on 1 a month until I get all the charity quilts done and ready to sell. That is if little man will allow me time to sew, he's been awefully needy here lately. Thank you so much Rhonda for all your hard work.

I just got my EQ6 upgrade from SheilaElaine and I am dying to download it and play with it. So I know something good will come out of it. I so appreciate your postings CJ You and Katie have kept me going. I sometimes wonder if anyone is listening to what I post. So many are really shy about sending any feedback. It is nice to know whether what I post is good or not so good. Well see ya on the flip side!! LOL In another words on the next project I dream up!! |
I can't wait to see what you do next. You can call me your QB stalker! LOL!! JK!!

Thank you, I loved all the different blocks.

Your blocks are so amazing! I look forward to seeing them every time you post. Thank you so much for all your hard work and time.
|
Thanks so much for doing this, Rhonda!
I'd like to use up my smaller pieces of 'stash' to do minis of each of these but haven't figured out how I'm going to put them together yet...I think that will come at the end of the process. Need to finish up with a set of squares that I cut...oh, 20 years ago? Almost done with them, then will start on the sampler blocks! |
Oooh, I really like the Tilda block. Will have to try that one, along with all the others on my list! (Still waiting for my templates, Rhonda. :D )
|
Ok, I'm not shy.......I love each and every block you did. Loved working on the Sampler, and even though it isn't done yet, I am only working on three projects at the moment. Two are your designs. One is one I am learning to do some different things on. I still have so many of your blocks I want to do, just can't do them all at one time.
I will continue to post on the sampler picture page, and I really do hope everyone else does. If it's only one block, or an entire quilt. And I hope they post on the picture page for the Sampler Quilt so I don't miss any. I love you Rhonda for doing all this work that I know you have enjoyed doing for all of us and you know I'll keep working on your blocks. I keep rearranging in which order I want to do them in. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! |
Thank you Katie you and CJ have been so dear to keep me motivated. I did at times wonder if anyone was interested. I love and need the feedback. It is the reason I do this plus the love of design and quilting.
I will hint I have gotten into some wall hanging designs I really want to do something with. Not sure yet if one of them will be a tutorial or not. While working on full size quilts for the new ebook I have played with all sorts of great wall hanging ideas and maybe table runners. So many ideas running around in my head. Thanks Everyone for being so supportive!! |
Every though I have not done your sampler, I did read all your posts because I always learn something from your instruction. Thank you for time and generosity.

Of course I have to check in on the last week :) those are Beautiful!!
Now I have to go back and check the others !! Thanks for what you do, some Fantastic Designs :) |
Rhonda, I ask you to forgive me, I've checked out everyone of your beautiful designs and have them safely saved in Bookmarked as well as here at home. I've not had the money to buy even crumbs, :( Times will get better. You need to hear from me, your one of my favorite's. Everything you have posted I've saved. When I can buy some crumbs (smile) I will be sure to post your beautiful creation sewed by my. They are for sure extremely beautiful. I enjoyed week by week with you and those who are making this beautiful quilt and drooled all over myself. Many Blessings and thank you even if I was not able to join in. (((hugs))) don't give up as there may be others like me.... :) Thank you

Well there are 84 all posted in this Sampler. I enjoyed designing every one of them. I hope everyone enjoys making them into quilts. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of how everyone uses them!!
I will make this quilt, but it will be later this year, because I have several quilts to do for my three grandchildren first. I've really enjoyed each new pattern and have them all saved (104 pages worth, even considering that I sized the blocks so they'd be in pairs on the same line). Thank you once again for posting this. You're the bestest! |
Thanks Everyone! I hope to see quilt pictures!!!
