Rhonda's Second Sampler Quilt Along - Week 12 - Cynthia

This week we are using Half Square Triangles or HSTs

So as usual it uses my cut down method which I think makes your blocks more accurate and you have better control of the size as you go.
Just make sure to measure each time you complete a step.
It will save a lot of frustration when you are done.

To make this quilt block into a 12 1/2" unfinished size you will need a 2 1/2" template.

You can take a look at the layout picture to see what Blocks you need and where to put the colors. If you change the color arrangement you will get a differant look from mine.

So try it out and see what you can make with this design! Have fun!

That's what I need this week, an easy one. I have week 11, Clarissa, done, not posted yet, and week 10 Wanda, although while working on Clarissa, I had a lost dog and was really upset, so I did a terrible job on it. And do plan on redoing it in a 12" because I love the Drunkards path, and I know I can do a 100% better job on it that the little one.

Oh yes, he took off on Christmas Day, but got im back yesterday. But my pets are my babies. I'm trying again to post the pictures, and when you see the Drunkard path, you'll think I actually was drunk. I am going to redo that one. It's just to pretty to keep it like this.
