Rhonda's Second Sampler Quilt Along - Week 23 - Rinda
 

When designing this one I was reminded of a poem I wrote. The line goes

Her hair and her dress swirled this way and that as she twirled right down to the ground

And this first quilt block makes me think of swirling because of the blue. so I named this one Rinda after that poem. Rollicking Rinda is what she is called in the poem. Can't you imagine a whole quilt with this swirling all over it? LOL

Hope you enjoy this quilt block!! I wanted to show how important it is to choose fabrics and prints wisely. I couldn't make up my mind between these two looks so decided to show you how much changing the prints can make a differance in how they end up looking!! Quilte a drastic differance!

For those who are new to my methods-
Here you can see the 4 patch Square blocks
and the Half SquareTriangle blocks.
Look at how the blocks are placed so you
can lay them out and then sew them together
into a quilt block.
