Caroline S, thank you. The blocks were in a donation bag from church. They are stitched a generous 1/4 inch from the curved edge on top of the 4 1/2 inch square. Once used/ washed, I think it will have a ragged edge. I get leftover/donated strips and blocks from a charity quilting group that I attend on Tuesdays when I am not subbing/ busy.

retiredteacher09, great minds think a like. I had the same type of blocks left over from another quilt and used them in my scrappy mystery too. :) fun!

Aw, Sunliten, as much as you love quilting, you gotta love that sweet baby more! Just be a grama for a day. The quilt will wait, but that cutie won't!! :-) I am so, so jealous!!

How cute!! Have lots of fun with her.

I love these mysteries, I quilted My first in January. I am waiting patiently for the train.

I am thinking about jumping on the train next month.. the idea of not knowing what I'm making always scares me, but then the end result comes out so beautiful!
