In honor of the last day of the month I decided to try my hand at The Block of the Month - first time I have ever done anything like this - I think my brain melted lol!! It was fun and challenging - hopefully I will improve ALOT as I go along. Printed out Jan, Feb & March too so will work on those to get caught up. Man those Y seams are a pain in the BEEEEEP!!! I have watched videos and I still am struggling - but anyway - here is my attempt. Sorry my pic is so bad - need to learn how to edit these.

2013 block of month
Very nice blocks, I am so glad you decided to jump in. We really have a good time learning new techniques each month.

2 April blocks
I tried twice & the 2nd one with the black I like best but I'm not sure what I did wrong. The 1st I did like a few others & didn't turn the center on point also it was PP which I like better. But my quilting time has been curtailed sharply with having surgery on both hands & yesterday I went to the doctor for severe pain in left upper arm & dang- I torn my rotator cuff! I'm falling apart!
