djmat...........No, the center star is not appliqued. It is a satin ready made star, with little pearl's in the center of it. I just attached it to the center to pretty it up!! Thank you for your compliment!!

Thank you for the nice compliment on my September block. Are you making any of 2013 BOM blocks, too? This month's pattern I have made in the past, but I like how this one turned out the best!!

Who's getting excited for the October BOM block pattern & direction's to be posted?

I know that I am & I am already trying to pick out my fabric's that I might use. Of course that depends on the pattern that is picked out!!

Oh WHAT COULD IT BE? Soon we will see!!

I hope that I didn't confuse you about my block for September. It is September's 2013 54-40 block pattern, I just made a few changes. I really like how your block turned out too. Soon we will get to see the new block for October!!
