I was not up to doing four small units, so I used graph paper and drafted the 12-1/2 inch block. It was fun as I had not drafted a block in quite awhile. Hope you all are have fun with this block also.

Yeah! Finished 1. For this one I used Patrice's pp pattern but I also am doing one using the pp pattern from Quilters Cache. It's not quite finished but soon, have to work on other things too.

I have been over thinking this block! Trying to get around the "block" in my brain as to what I am doing wrong. I finished the block but it is sadly an 11 3/4 block! so back to the drawing board. I can usually do paper pieced, but I think I am trying to combine both techniques pp and template. I guess I was too tired, today I start fresh!
