Hi Connie:
I'm afraid in my efforts to make things EASY I may have made things more difficult as I posed the question about Christmas Socks for our soldiers on the BOM thread but then put the directions, pattern and pictures of the project on the "Pictures" thread of the board. If you go to the PICTURES thread you will see downloadable patterns. If you go to the middle of the first page (approx.) there is a downloadable file with a notation "BETTER PATTERN FOR SOCK." Use that download as it's easier to see. This entry is on Pg. 1 Christmas Socks for our soldiers written on Sept. 3, 2008...what I've discovered is IF you remember who posted something you are interested in, you can go back later and click on that person's name by their avatar and that'll take you to their personal page then click on their POSTS. You can go down their particular subject POSTS and find the entry you are interested in. This seems much quicker for me than going through the threads as something posted in PICTURES or BOM can become lost by the addition of new entries in a matter of a couple days. I hope this helps.

I got the Instructions through the link but, not the pattern in order to get the exact size. Can anyone help me with that? :(

Hi DebJ, I had to get a computer expert to download the stocking to the right size, and still don't know how I got it. I can tell you that the right size fits on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.

Just to fill you in, I checked there at the and it is all Marines and far from me. I live in a BIG Army State, (even though really they are all soilders!) so am doing something in the same realm as your idea. So the Army gets items too. Now what about the Navy.. LOL

It just lists the coordinator's e-mail and the e-mail address doesn't work. Or am I missing it? Does anyone have an address?

I got the first email to work. Here is the email addy.
Email:Connie Riecke
[email protected]

But I think this is the way you are suppose to do it. I found on the page a form you fill out and email.

This is what the page reads:
Volunteer opportunities include :

Battalion Coordinators
Platoon Coordinators
Stocking Sewers This is the one we are interested in.
Packing Party Coordinators

Then it directs you to this page.
http://www.marinecorpsfamilyfoundati...teerToday.html
and you fill out the form and email it to

[email protected]

Hope it helps and if I messed up explaining ask again or PM me. :D
