    Quilters Magazine "Bitty Blocks"

Anybody else doing the Bitty Blocks from QM? They'll post a new pattern the first of every month for 2015. The blocks will be 3 to 4 inches in size. January's block is Bow Tie. I just finished making 2 of them. They are 3 1/2 inches unfinished. Fun to do, but I think I'd like them all to be the same size. I'm thinking they'll make into a cute doll quilt for Malina for next Christmas.Name: image.jpg

I checked it out....quilt will be lap/throw size. They'd like you to make a row of the blocks each month. Looks like a good way to do a scrappy and get another quilty gift done by the end of the year. Of course, anyone can do it their own way. Looked interesting, tho....thanks for posting info

    nice start.love the colors.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

I also live under a barrel - thanks for the site explaining them - I thought they were strictly a twitter thing, but I see they are getting a much broader use.

I've made 12 today. Using Christmas colors. Lots of fun! Hope I can keep up! Will head to the sewing room after lunch to finish the rest. Would be fun to have a little thread to encourage each other.
