I may be in trouble. I was going to finish up sewing our mini-mystery this afternoon, but got "side-tracked," lol. I started reading the 3rd mystery, and am now planning on starting that as soon as I finish this one. The first set of cutting and sewing directions are on page 27 and that's where my reading stopped. My hope is that I don't peek ahead so I can enjoy the mystery part. :-)
I am so enjoying this group! Thanks again Judy! Laura

I am almost done with my black and white quilt top, but I am going to have to wait to finish my purple one till hubby sends my cut pieces from clue one. Wait till you see my black and white, turned out great and I have a small surprise. Tomorrow I am going to church with my sister and then to her house, my lap top works there so I should be able to down load the pictures there... I don't know why I am having so much trouble with my mom's computer, and to think I used to be a geek before I retired!

Your batiks are spectacular! I have lots of batiks but I tend to hoard them so I don't have many scraps. I'm going to have to remedy that situation so I can make one like yours!

Thanks Judy for being the mystery train engineer and for all the hard work you do for us to have fun and lovely quilts. My husband has declared that this quilt will be living with us and not finding a new home. haha.

Hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation, Judy.

That batik is beautiful. I love your idea of the small 4 patch, bet the stars would have blended it too much. I might have to look at all my batiks and start another one. That's just what I need to do, keep myself occupied. I tried really hard to cram myself in Judy's suitcase, but she packed way to much stuff in there. Couldn't even get my foot in let alone my _ _ _ _ . Guess I have to stay home. Have fun Judy get rested and refreshed, you're going to have a wonderful time.

Hope it is one of those suitcases where you can zip around to expand.....because.....I am thinking there are fabrics produced in Costa Rica. If not you could just mail the laundry home...giggle...I almost did that once.

I finished my quilt top today. Excuse the coloring. I had the bedroom light on, and the flash didn't go off. Evidently, camera thought it had enough light.
