Of course it's doable thimblebug, but I'm not planning to finish in 3 weeks

Surprised myself and found the book on my quilt book rack. Do I dare say I will join when I am overloaded with other things? I have enough fabric in my stash I could if I can find the time. Looks like a lot of fun. I like the schedule you have going on forward, Anael. Worse thing, it would wind up as an UFO; best thing, it just might get finished!

Hi QNS, great you're joining also It is a lot of fun and our group is still growing! I never knew you have the book, you never mentioned it as far as I remember. It won't wind up as an UFO, you can always make potholders or tablerunners

Just checking on their site & see a page of corrections in case you need them for your version of the directions. http://www.ctpub.com/client/client_p...rata/10686.cfm

Oh Anael you will be messing with my "rattled" mind. No page 1, page 2 page 3. Now I have to go make two new blocks. Oh by the way the computer is fixed and I am BAAAAACCCKKKKKK

Psst DD and I started a new quilt today just because I don't have enough on the go...

DD has cooked dinner so will catch up on the other site either tonight or tomorrow..

Hahaha Mirabelle, I just saw your post, we must have been writing ours together
You don't have to follow the schedule, you know? Just post your two blocks, it might create confusion though

And what's another quilt.....you will be finished end of this week and need another new project!

Thank you for the plan. I for one need it. It is so overwhelming to just look at all of those blocks. Where do I start? Well, now I know. As soon as I get Christmas off of my quilting counter, I will get started, again! Tee-Hee, Hee.

Anael, I have a personal library of Quilt books and magazines of several hundred; among them are two Elm Creek quilt books as I really enjoyed the Elm Creek novels. Love your schedule, so far, and think its a doable timeline. Challenge will be to maintain the colorful array of blocks that you will be displaying each time...but I think my stash is up to that challenge...a riot of color. Background will have to be a neutral, blending in to 'calm' the colors...you have me thinking about the whole effect as we do each one...putting the slashing on each one left side and top as its completed. Corner stones?? Still thinking.
