I love color and this filled the bill! Also I knew I had complimentary fabrics that would work with this. So the brown is my focus fabric and all the colors in it are so vivid. I am hoping for an eye-catching finished product. Might even keep it for myself!

Thanks everyone! I have so much trouble with fabrics that don't scream! lol Love bright colors!

Here are my blocks! Waiting for the next clues!

And that seam ripper is really beautiful, he needs to sell those I've never seen one better looking! I'd be proud to rip! I mean after all I usually have to rip something! lol

I have been looking at everyones colors and I just got pulled in. I hope this train has room for me too. I have been in my stash and too many colors are talking to me! But I finally found the six that I will use. Tomorrow I will cut and post a picture if all goes well.

So far, I have not been able to upload a photo of my colors. I'm getting "antsy" to sew the strips together. So here's my question: F is the focus fabric...i would like it to be in the center of my strip set. Is that okay, or do I need to put the strips in ABC order when sewing? Hope paintmejudy can answer this. Hope to get a picture posted one day.

Never mind. Retired Navy wife speak: Belay my last. I read previous postings and see that it doesn't matter what order the strips are in, but darks should be in the middle. Off to sew!

I haven't done mine yet because my pressing board is covered in HSTs from another quilt. Did I miss something about darks being in the middle? I'm getting anxious to see mine together. I can set up a real ironing board tomorrow and get caught up.

Sorry it took me so long but my sewing machine broke and had to buy a new machine while my machine is being fixed. I purchased a cheapy and got it a couple of days. A nice sewing machine to use while my
good machine is being fixed. Well, I finally got my project done and here they are. Can't wait for the next project part.

As I remember, the directions said to lay the strips out in an order that was pleasing to you. I don't remember Judy saying anything about darks in the middle. Hope I'm not wrong.
