I had the same problem, I had to cut additional strips also.

Haven't completely decided yet. Probably something very plain, a tiny subtle print, the same for all blocks or different, not sure. It's a mystery to me, too.

First blocks done

This is my first time doing a mystery quilt and also my first time posting here.
Hope it does OK. I have included my F fabric in the photo. This will be fun.
