Hey I just finished a UFO. WOW!!! I'm getting there. However, the UFO's have multiplied again downstairs. And I haven't finished sorting.

Yes that's the bacc show. Left to right - Colin (boyfriend), my awesome daughter Meg, me, and hubby, Kris. In wheelchair is my mom. Can't wait to send this picture to SIL's. They were there from Michigan but didn't have their camera. After 6 years, Meg has an art degree and we are so proud of her. Okay, I'm done. Back to quilting. Darn, Mom wants supper now. I was on a roll.

Sunliten, what is "empty spools"?

THANK YOU!!! My goal this year is to send an attachment - very "small" minded when it comes to these gadgets. But i learned how to attach a picture - (light bulb) could it be the same? World watch out now.

Well i am up late again tonight! I was totally excited about getting my new Geese template and I made 16 geese so fast my head was spinning!

I just get a little too excited sometimes and don't take time to think! I really liked the idea of using the black and white for my geese rather than the turquoise. So i was quite amazed when my beautiful perfect geese did not fit! I looked at everything again and nope didn't reach the end. Soooo I decided to go back to the lesson on making the geese, and wouldn't ya just know it I made the wrong size geese.

I pressed them flat and just looked at it for a while, my husband looked at it, he suggested that I hide my error by bringing out the last color an inch to cover to the end. I decided to embrace my error and add 1 inch of color!

So what do you think? Do I need to take it apart and start stitch pickin', or Embrace my individuality???

wow that is sooooooooooo pretty.............great solution and looks planned that way because the strips match the star.
that is an exciting version of the block! I think a black and white block needs to be on my bucket list.
