Thanks, QM. I figure I can now add a border of the black with purple flowers. It's very unfortunate that the lower left corner didn't match up better.

Mary, thanks for posting your B&W quilt. Love it. Great backing too. I would never have thought to put that backing on. Works.

My silly geese decided to fly in a different formation. I'll probably bind it with the butterfly fabric because that is the only one I have enough of left over. I've named it The Mystery of the Butterflys. Thanks so much for the fun trainride, Judy, and also everyone else for the fun times in the club car. See you on the next trip.

40, I really like the colors you have. The geese are great. I didn't know how the geese were supposed to go, so I just looked at them and then sewed. Maybe they are wrong. "Design change" - that's what hubby says when the wood piece that he's turning changes into something else. I didn't notice that one corner isn't matching. We are our own worse critics.

whitepine - wow!! Looks wonderful. Love the way you added the pinwheels and the geese on both ends. Wish I had thought about that. But my imagination is on break.

Sunliten, "Designed and produced exclusively for JOANN fabric and craft stores." It was a group of coordinated fabrics that came in several colors. I couldn't find it online but maybe your local store has some left. It was in the store when we started this train ride.
